The Secret Outing

I slowly looked around the tent, making sure no one was awake. I breathed a slow, quiet sigh of relief. I got up, fully dressed and crept soundlessly outside. I walked to the forest. I gave a shrill whistle. My secret pet, a falcon named Ayah came and perched on my outstretched arm. She was a regular falcon, not from the CIA, but still a terrific fighter...when she wanted to be. Her talons dug into my skin but I ignored the little discomfort. I looked around and saw some pebbles were around me. I closed my eyes and willed them. They rose up, wavering slightly in the air. I focused on them and they shot to the ground, making a smiley face. I realized that I'd been holding my breath the whole time and slowly exhaled. I felt like punching the air, but I needed to see if my target-hitting was better. I let the other rocks drop but kept the smallest one up. I found a knot on a tree and stared. The rock flew to the tree, missing the knot by like, half a centimeter. I cursed quietly. Telekinesis. It was my-literally-secret weapon. It had come from my mother's side of the family. I heard a twig snap behind me. I whirled around and saw a glistening snout in the bushes. Ayah flew away. She was always a bit skittish. I bit my lower lip and rose off the ground. Just in time too, because a pack of wolves erupted from all around me. In my panic I put too much energy to my floating and I rose to quickly, hitting a branch. I felt some blood trickle down my head but I grabbed the tree limb, happy for the safety from the barking-and jumping-wolves.

OOF: This isn't too private...one or two people can join...preferably one...

I snped on if the wolves jaw I saw Taylor in a tree and said "sneaking out late are we? Not such a good idea with these wolves don't you think?" And killed an.other wolf

I jumped out. "Ha! SO it's true!!!" I say loudly. I snap, make a snarl, growl, tense my shoulders, hold my ground and make a barking/snapping noise. The wolves whimper and back off. They look at me oddly. "What? A girl can't be raised by wolves and not learn a few things. And that's not the surprising part," I glance at Taylor. She would be ticked if she knew I knew.

"Andrea you really got to teach me some wolf moves." I say smiling. Then I look up at Taylor "get cleaned up your a bloody mess."

OOF: Guys, I said you could come in, not save the day in like, 3 posts!

OOF: I didn't do it Andrea did

OOF: Yeah, but you joined in.

The Alpha snarls behind me. "O.. no..." I climb a tree as it re-gathers its pack. I came with only a few arrows and a bungee cord.

"Get up idiot!" I snap to Lexi. I turn away from both of them and focus on an extraordinarily sharp rock. I use most of my focus for force, the other bit for guidance and precision. The rock stabed the Alpha many times till it dropped dead, blood pouring out of it's side.

OOF: Guys, i gotta finish this, cuz it's not done...plz don't post till you see my nxt post. Thnxs.

OOF: K, i'm ready.

IF: I slowly climbed down. Avoiding their prying eyes. I stumbled a bit when I got to the ground and found my footing. I trudged for a few yards, but collapsed from over-exertion. I had never tried to do so much in so little time. I managed a few shallow breaths before I fainted, then everything went black.

I looked down, and looked at Lexi, and signaled for her to help Taylor. I jumped down, and went to the wolf pack. I let them sniff me, but kept them at a stiff position, with snaps. I was their alpha now. Then, slowly, I petted them, one by one, and they actually licked my hands. I smiled and decided to keep them. I looked at Taylor, slowly rousing. She could move things with her mind, and i could survive ain the woods, and make a fire. Oh yeah, I'm the worlds most wanted Wolf-Whisperer. Pathetic compared. Then, I walked to the fallen alpha, and began to search its body. I then decide that tomarrow I will bury it. It deseves it, even if Taylor is hurt... Then zI focus on that. "Taylor!" I gasp, remembering her. The wolfs follow me, sensing my edginess. I look at her, worried. Wow, I say. I pump her heart gently, keeping it faster, to rouse her. Then, her eyes fluttered open. "Are you okay?" I ask. I'd been watching, so the teleknis shouldn't surprise me... but on that scale... "Your amazing," I sasy to her. "And it confirms something else. Some of us have something special. Mine is surviving the forest, Fall's is hard to get information out of her, and Roman's Teleknis... But I didn't know the CIA could do..." I gesture to her. "This!"

"Roman has teleknisis?" I ask weakly. I laugh faintly. "So am I..." Then I drift off again, not a faint, just sleep.

"No, sorry. His Mountain-lion-ness." We laugh weakly, then Taylor drifts off. One of the younger wolves licks her hand gently.

OOF: Wat? Mountian-lion-ness?

His catlike agility, etc.

OOF: Oh.

I sigh.

I wake up back in my tent, with a white bandage wrapped around my head. "Hello?" I call out groggily, my voice laced with uncertainty.

"Hey" I smile at her one thing I don't do often."You lost a lot of blood last night, Andrea and I started freaking out. Oh and your skills, amazing but not so surprising."

OOF: Seriously? I only wanted one person to know but like, two people to be there!
IF: "If you tell anyone I'll use my "skill" to kill you," I groan.

OOF: sorry!!!
IF: I smile "I don't have anyone to tell."

"I already knew. I have been... watching." The same wolf who licked her hand walked up, whimpering. It seemed to be attached to Taylor.

"Hey girl," I said softly, petting her. "But please, don't tell anyone guys, not unless we know we can trust them completely. Got it?"

"Got it"

"Thanks," I said smiling.
