I'm still confused. Were these girls challenging each other for ranks out here. See whos top dog? The growling set me on edge and I wanted to do something but it was in my nature to not interfere in one on one fights. Even if it were a family member and they were dying. I watch eyes narrowed and sitting on a thin tree branch high into the tree.

I stop as she kicks me. "Haha, No. You really should have not done that." And I grab her arm as she throws a punch and pull her down. "Good luck." And then a pull a knife and pin her, the blade at the back of her neck. "Surrender."

"Let her go," I order Andrea quietly, my hands full of game, my bow and arrows, gun, and a deer on my back. I drop the hunt. I raise an eyebrow and glare at her. "I leave for like, 10 minutes, and this is what happens!" I exclaim, snatching the knife out of Andrea's hand, cutting myself a little. "Now, you all need to help me with all this dead meat," I order.

"Well, I pretty much came up with that rule, so I guess I'm at an advantage." I grumble, hoping for Fall to be on my side. Because you do NOT want to oppose her. "I would never hurt her." I snap suddenly at Taylor. "We do these things to keep us safe and prepared." Then quickly I began to skin the meat.

And I stalk into the forest, and my dog walks up. She is dragging a sled for game. I slug it over my back, and on the way back I'll put the harness on her and let her carry it. She catches some birds and we play fetch, happy as clams. She and Fall probably brought out the best of me. "Good girl. Good, Good girl. Yeah, good Scully." She licks me, and then her head snaps back, her tail stiff, Silent, the muscles in her neck tensed, ready to sprint. She notices the deer hasn't seen her yet. "Go." I order, and she breaks out in a run and jumpos on the deer, and bites its neck. The deer goes down. I smile, thinkig about how nice it is to have a dog. A DNA altered dog, at that. A dog in the council is able to have a K-9 bullet-proof vest, which we occasionally loot from the CIA dogs. She wears it with pride today.

I sort the good meat from the bad and put the best fur in one pile for the weakest and coldest troops and the not-so-good fur is for the stronger people.
